A dentistry student at Plymouth University has been charged with seven terror offences.

An ITV report revealed Abdurahman Kaabar, who is 22 and originally from Sheffield, is charged with three offences of possessing records of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, and four offences of disseminating terrorist publications.

Kaaber, a UK citizen of Libyan descent, was arrested on August 10 and remains in custody.

Kaabar intends to plead not guilty to the charges, according to his lawyer Sav Khan.

This charge follows not long after a 24-year-old dental student from Huddersfield appeared in court after being charged with preparing terrorist acts and possessing terrorist documents - please click here to read this article.
